HRC10
Maxwell’s HRC10 Series of automatic horizontal windlasses are designed to effortlessly retrieve and deploy combination chain/rope or all chain anchor rodes and have the added benefit of an independently operated rope capstan. Maxwell’s hard anodized front casing and removable, water tight composite rear cover enables easy above deck routine maintenance.
Maxwell’s unique “wrap around” horizontal chain wheel ensures that the anchor rode is in contact with more than 90 degrees of the chain wheel at all times, ensuring greatly improved levels of grip and performance.
The HRC series winches are available in two models, in 12 or 24volt and with or without independent rope capstan.
HRC10-8
Offering a maximum pull of 700kg, the HRC10-8 automatically handles 8mm (5/16”) short link chain spliced to 14mm(9/16”) or 16mm(5/8”) rope and is suited to boats up to 40 foot in length.
HRC10-10
Offering a maximum pull of 850kg, the HRC10-10 automatically handles 10mm (3/8”) short link chain spliced to 16mm (5/8”) rope and is suited to boat up to 53 foot in length.
